Ruth Cullen found her roots in RnB and acoustic music. From the age of 18 she was writing her own material and collaborating with some of the best artists in the UK RnB scene. As time went on, she grew as an artist and her musical direction changed; she began to focus on house music. This came as second nature to her, as this particular genre was always a passion of hers. Within a year of her transition she had recorded 3 big tracks with Di Scala and eSQUIRE, 2 of which were released on MINISTRY OF SOUND and HED KANDI (Has To Be Love) and also on CLUBLAND (Do You Know). Through this, she made links with breakthrough up and coming duo TEK-ONE, who are currently dominating the dubstep scene, putting the UK on the map. Her self penned track ‘Hate You’ produced by the duo, has become a major anthem on the underground dubstep scene around the world.
